My daughter's room is the hottest in the house in the summer, and the coldest in the winter. She's over the garage. I decided to buy this, and although I am reasonably handy I thought I might have my son-in-law help me. Turns out, that wasn't needed and I had it done in a couple of hours. I did have help with the electrical connection, but that's it. My biggest concerns were drilling the 3" inch hole in the side of my house and messing up the installation of the pre-charged line-set, but the template for the drilling was great and the instructions were simple and confidence inspiring.

The picture is from the back of my garage. I purchased the line-set cover and painted it to match my house.
From the front of the house you can only see the top foot of the line set cover, so it's practically invisible. It's also so quiet that from the ground I can barely hear it running.

My daughter's room is super-comfortable and she couldn't be happier. Me too.
