This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a high growth online retailer. 

In this role, you will be responsible for creating world-class software applications that power Premium Home Source day in and day out. We build most of our technology in-house (think: e-commerce systems, business systems, bundle system and everything in between). The enterprise resource planning software that runs our entire business operations? We built them all—and more!—by listening closely to customers and collaborators alike (from Finance to Marketing) and by being relentlessly iterative. What you’ll do:

Develop world class backend applications that power our business

Collaborate with product teams to deliver world-class technical solutions to drive business value and meet stakeholder needs

Tackle challenges of scale though solid engineering practices and creative problem solving

Ensure your products are resilient and meet well-defined service level agreements with client stakeholders

Participate in code reviews and help maintain high standards of code quality

Exceed quality expectations through a strong test-minded approach at every step of the lifecycle

Monitor your application and resolve issues and SLA violations quickly and efficiently

Who you are:

Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

At least 3 years of experience in professional software development

Proficient at building webscale applications

Proficient in Python

Proficient in Databases and Data Modeling

Proficient in API design and standards

Proficient and open-minded communicator

Proficient in agile work processes—you’re comfortable breaking down large pieces of work to deliver value incrementally

Proficient in unit, integration, load, and other forms of application testing

Proficient in system & process documentation 

Demonstrated ability to deliver software projects with a high level of autonomy

Extra credit:

Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure

Familiar with web and mobile native application (iOS, Android) development

The Digital Media Analyst plays an important role in the Digital Media team, responsible for the performance and campaign executions across all Paid Search channels. This person understands how search engines & paid social platforms function; how bids relate to keyword performance and campaign efficiency so they can optimise and manage campaign budget allocation.

What you’ll do:

Execution for Premium Home Source Paid Search campaigns including planning, trafficking, day-to-day optimisations & budget pacing.

Build & analyse keyword lists, analyse search volume and make recommendations

Run search reports on a regular basis to mine for new keywords, creative text ad, pacing and overall spend

Run paid social creative reports on a regular basis to share insights and actions with creative & brand teams 

Collaborate with the creative & brand teams on building ad copy and ensuring assets meet platform best-practice  

Traffic, upload, and QA keywords, harnessing the Bid Management Tool process

Implement custom audiences, contextual, look-alikes, and other affinity groups for targeting

Campaign set-up and management including audience targeting, creative testing, bid and budget management, etc.

Monitor account performance & report any anomalies to the manager

Deliver weekly performance reporting & insights with thoughtful, concise recommendations on next steps for improvement

Implement and monitor tests e.g. A/B landing page, copy tests and conversion lift tests

Who you are:

4+ years proven expertise in Paid Search

Working knowledge of Google Display Network

Acquisition, retail or e-commerce campaign management experience 

Familiarity working with cross-functional teams

Experience with A/B and multivariate testing 

Excellent skills in data-driven analysis

Significant media-specific spreadsheet experience (pivot tables, vlookups, media formulas)

A clear understanding of pacing, flighting and nuances of managing channel-specific budgets

Our ideal candidate has great communication skills (both written and verbal), patience, tolerance, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Also, the ability to listen to what the customer has to say and being empathetic about their concerns and queries can help increase customer satisfaction and loyalty to your company. In addition, a good Customer Service Manager is always prompt at responding to customers. 

Responsibilities: 

Manage a team of customer support staff and be the go-to
leader on answering/resolving all customer support questions

Monitoring Customer Service Associates and evaluating
their responses and handling of customer queries and concerns

Answering customers’ questions, resolving problems, and
maintaining customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving resources

Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems
through to resolution

Respond to escalated customer support issues

Ability to handle frustrated customers and resolve their
issues

Maintaining relationships with profitable customers

Implementing customer support processes to enhance
customer satisfaction.

Hiring new Customer Service Associates based on team requirements, standards and company direction

Skills / Experience:

Fluent and proficient in English (native speaker)

Proven working experience as a Customer Service Manager, Retail Manager or Assistant Manager

Ability to train and mentor a customer service team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to speak regularly on the phone

Organized and attention to detail 

Problem solving and issue resolution 

Microsoft Excel and Word

Management experience of 2 or more persons

Experience in providing customer service support

Top-notch oral, written, and interpersonal abilities

Capacity to accept and utilize constructive criticism

Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills

Knowledge of Shopify and Gorgias is a plus
