The MRCOOL® TravelCool™ MRDHP15K-D is a 15,000 BTU rooftop RV heat pump finished in black to complement modern RV exteriors. It uses a DC inverter compressor to cool and heat on 115V power, includes a remote control, and fits the standard 14.17-inch x 14.25-inch RV ceiling opening, so no special cut-out is needed. Pair it with a ducted or ductless interior kit to match your RV layout.

• Plug-and-Go Fit: Built around the industry-standard 14.17" x 14.25" ceiling opening, so no special cut-out is required. MRCOOL states that professional installation is not required.
• DC Inverter Efficiency: A variable-speed inverter compressor adjusts output continuously instead of cycling on and off, holding temperature steadier with fewer swings. Sound level stays below 65 dB.
• Low 11-Amp Draw with Soft Start: Built-in soft start limits startup surge, and the unit runs on about 11 amps, which suits generator and battery-powered setups. Minimum circuit ampacity is 16A with a 25A maximum fuse or breaker.
• Cooling and Heating in One Unit: 15,000 BTU (1.25 ton) cooling and 10,236 BTU heating from a single heat pump, so add-on heat strips are not needed. Heating operates in outdoor temperatures as low as 41°F.
• Remote and App Control: Includes a remote control and can also be adjusted from the unit's display thermostat. Built-in Wi-Fi works with the MRCOOL® Connect app on iOS and Android for real-time control, alerts and monitoring.
• Ducted or Ductless Interior Kits: Add the MDRDK ducted kit for RVs with ceiling ductwork, typically larger coaches, or the MLRDK ductless kit for smaller campers and vans. The ductless setup is the quieter of the two.
