The best word to describe this fridge is flimsy. The designers of the piece decided that using the thinnest possible materials is the way to go, so the shelves are 1/8" thinner than my last fridge shelves, & the units that fit in the door crack on their own in the cold. When asked what those door pieces are rated to hold and weight-wise, I got no answer. I wouldn't put a gallon jug of anything in them, 8lbs would destroy them.
Forno also decided that running their designs past either an ergonomist or a human factors person was to expensive & that's a mistake. Putting the controls on the right door is downright foolish because hands and arms brush past them everytime you open the door. The dinging, oh the dinging... If you have kids, or men in your life, don't get this fridge. They'll break it.
The business you buy it from, on this case Premium Home Source, is only the middleman. Any issues you have with it, like the screws recepticles being installed improperly, have to go thru forno themselves. Who are in Canada. On the East Coast. Those who will contact you don't understand time differences if you live on the West Coast, and get cranky if they wake you up at 6am and you get confused why someone is calling that early and no one has died!?
Delivery is done by a sub contractor, who also don't understand time. They run in, throw the fridge in the designated area but DO NOT either level it or make sure it can't slide across the floor everytime you open the door. They'll leave all the packaging in your driveway, under the perfect of "if you need to return the fridge you need all the packaging".
My dude, if the fridge needs to be returned you're bringing me a new fridge at the same time. Two boxes aren't needed. Clearly problem solving skills were skipped. More than likely it's the business model to put all the onus on the customer. If you call PHS with an issue they tell you to email them, only so they can them tell you to contact forno. They want nothing to do with you once you've paid them.
I've bought appliances online before, but that was before the pandemic. This is a while new world and no one cares. Not only are the door bins chintzy but the spacing they ALLOW you to choose for the shelves is ridiculous. They could have given you a dozen choices for placement but some guy whose only claim to appliance design is that he's used one, decide you only get to choose from 5 options for shelf placement. If you use something tall like a 64oz container you now really only have 3 choices. They give you 4 shelves, can't use the 4th shelf effectively. They tell you to just store it.
The tell you to store the extra set of handles too, so if you have a garage maybe that's an option. Not everyone does. I don't.
I just am issue with those door handles, the insets that the screws go into so that YOU can install the door handles were mis set on the right door, handle wobbly and not flush to door surface. It's taken a month to get the a new door shipped & appointment set up to get it installed. Dude comes in, fiddles with it, decides maybe my assessment was correct, replaced the door and then walks off. Leaves the old door and all packaging on my porch. I have no room to store a door,a shelf, extra handles and it took nearly 6 weeks to get rid of the original packaging.
Seriously.
Go to a local store, buy local. Buy from someone that you meet, face to face, even if its as big box store. Between PHS and Forno no one has the ability to communicate effectively. PHS will pass you on to Forno, and Forno will take days to weeks to figure anything out. They purposely don't tell you what the next step is then act shocked and surprised when you call them out for not giving you all the info.
There's also a set of stickers on the side of the fridge, telling you that there's a plastic wrapping that needs to be taken off. The stickers aren't on the plastic and they're on the body of the fridge itself. We're 3 hours in with soaking and gently picking at the layers is stickers, trying to remove it all. Tech was supposed to handle it today, he just have me a blank look. Those stickers may still be there when all that's left in the world are radioactive remains and cockroaches. They aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
Literally buy anything else. Photos are 1) handles that don't sit correctly 2) stickers that refuse to budge and the pile of stuff left by the tech because I didn't know I had to specifically ask that their parts that they replaced needed to be taken away.
And didn't even get me started on the number of calls and emails you'll get about extended insurance...

We love our new Forno refrigerator. Delivery was timely and professional. Clear instructions made assembly easy. Handles come with screws and a hex tool. Shelves slide right into place. The water hose for ice maker comes with connector for attachment to water line. There’s even a cute little scooper for ice cubes. Temperature control is easy to use and works great. This refrigerator fits very well into our kitchen as well as our lifestyle. The bronze handles on white make it look clean and elegant, plus it runs basically silently. We highly recommend this Forno refrigerator!

Gorgeous design and a large amount of interior space for refrigerator size.

One criticism is the trays in the doors which are not very secure. One has already fallen out twice and cracked - so beware !

Othe features are great - I hope they can sort out the design of the trays in future models.

It's a beautiful appliance that pushes beyond what we expect from contemporary fridge design it was difficult to find a compact fridge thats so roomy !

Premium Home Source did a fantastic job of communicating and confirming details about my order and the delivery was delivered on the first day of their original delivery estimate. There was no damage or any issues with the refrigerator upon delivery.

Very pleased with the product itself. It has the modern french door configuration with freezer drawer below, so it has more space than you would expect. We were upgrading from a (very) outdated two door horizontal fridge (fridge on the bottom, freezer on the top) and that fridge was nearly full with a basic amount of food / groceries. After moving everything into this Forno Espresso fridge, there is a significant amount of space left over. This refrigerator was a good choice for us, in particular, because we do not have water line available for the fridge, so it does not include a water supply on the door (which we wouldn't be able to use). It does still include an ice maker in the freezer drawer, so if you DO have a water supply, you can utilize the ice maker.

For anyone looking to upgrade from an older fridge or one that is less efficient with its storage space, this is a great option. I would recommend the product itself, as well as going through Premium Home Source. I hadn't heard of Premium Home Source prior to this order and was a little skeptical, but they were extremely professional and everything showed up on time and in perfect condition.
