Q: Can you manually open and close the drawer on this microwave MWD-1?

A: You can manually open the MWD-1 if you pull the handle on the drawer. Do not attempt to use the button and manually open the drawer at the same time.

This might cause the drawer to come off the tracks if it's pulled too fast while trying to automatically open. Either manually open the drawer or use the button but don’t do both.

I am remodelling my kitchen, and I researched appliances for a long while I was leaning towards Sharp drawer microwave originally , but Z line won out again. I wanted to keep Zline look going the look of the line and the reviews on the quality is what sold me. However, I don’t have the microwave hooked up yet, so I will update this review at a later time to see how I like it. But so far, I’m very happy with the look of the microwave and I must say Zline does an amazing job at packaging, they take great pride and their product and their name and it shows.
