  • Compatibility: fits the Big Ass Fans Haiku Coastal 52 in and 60 in fans.

Questions & answers

Q: What sizes does the Haiku Coastal come in?
A: Two: 52 inch (covers up to 225 sq ft) and 60 inch (up to 400 sq ft). Both are marine-grade, wet-rated fans.

Q: Can it be used outdoors, in rain and salt air?
A: Yes. It's UL Wet-rated, IP56-sealed, and built with 316 stainless hardware for fully exposed coastal and oceanfront use.

Q: Does this fan come with a light?
A: It depends on the version. We offer an integrated-LED model (a wet-rated 2700K downlight with 16 dimmable levels, standard on every configuration of that listing) and a No-Light model for a clean, pure-airflow look. Pick the listing that matches what you want - the light can't be added later.

Q: Which downrod do I need?
A: Choose your ceiling height and the right downrod ships. The 52 inch includes a 5 inch downrod and the 60 inch a 10 inch; taller ceilings add a longer one, with the added price shown in the option.

Q: What finishes are available?
A: Cocoa or Caramel woodgrain blades, or solid Matte Black or Matte White - each with a matching black or white motor.

Q: How is it controlled?
A: By handheld remote, Bluetooth wall control, or the mobile app, plus voice via Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit, and Ecobee.

Q: Is it quiet and energy-efficient?
A: Yes - a brushless motor keeps it under 35 dBA at top speed, and it's Energy Star qualified.

Q: What warranty does it include?
A: A 3-year warranty for residential and commercial use that specifically covers salt exposure.
