Yes. MRCOOL DIY systems use pre-charged Quick Connect line sets, so there is no vacuuming or refrigerant charging. You mount the indoor and outdoor units, drill through the wall, connect the line set and make the electrical connection. Electrical requirements depend on the model and your local code, so check the product page and use a licensed electrician where required.

Yes. Multi-zone systems connect one outdoor unit to two to six indoor units, one per room. You can mix indoor unit sizes, for example 9K and 12K, to suit each room.

All are DIY systems with Quick Connect line sets. DIY Select is our most popular single-zone range. 5th Gen is available as single and multi-zone systems. EasyPro is a single-zone range. Hyper Heat models are designed for colder climates. Each product page lists the exact heating range, efficiency and coverage.

Systems include a pre-charged Quick Connect line set, and the length is shown in each product title, for example 11.5 ft. If you need a longer run, choose a longer line set option on the product page or build your own system.

Warranty depends on the series: DIY Select has a 2-year compressor and 1-year parts warranty, DIY EasyPro has 5 years on the compressor and 3 years on parts, and the 5th Gen range (including multi-zone, E Star and Hyper Heat) has 7 years on the compressor and 5 years on parts.
