Free Curbside Delivery
MRCOOL orders include free curbside delivery via FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, or the most trusted carrier available. Please note that delivery is to the curbside only - be sure to arrange for assistance if needed, as the carrier will not bring items inside your home.

Tracking & Delivery Scheduling
In most cases, you will receive tracking details 3-5 business days after you place your order. When the tracking number is sent, please allow 1-2 business days for the tracking number to populate details.

RETURN POLICY

MRCOOL returns must be requested within 30 days of your delivery date. We are unable to process returns submitted after this period. Products must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging, including the box and pallet, to qualify for a return.

Please note, a 35% restocking fee will be applied to all approved returns.

Does the 5th Gen qualify for tax credits?

  2. Check the AHRI Certificate - Go to the AHRI (Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute) Directory and search for your unit’s AHRI number to confirm its eligibility.
  3. Review IRS Guidelines - The IRS requires energy-efficient equipment to meet specific SEER2 (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) and HSPF2 (Heating Seasonal Performance Factor) standards. Check the latest Energy Star guidelines.
  4. Consult a Tax Professional - To ensure you can claim the credit, consult a tax advisor and review IRS Form 5695 for residential energy credits.

What is the warranty?

The MRCOOL 5th Generation DIY Mini-Split systems offer the following warranty coverage:

  • Limited Lifetime Compressor Warranty: This warranty provides coverage for the compressor for the lifetime of the unit for the original registered owner. To qualify, the unit must be registered within 60 days of installation, and the owner must enroll in the MRCOOL Care Program within 4 months of installation.
  • 7-Year Compressor Replacement Warranty: This warranty ensures that if the compressor fails within the first seven years, MRCOOL will provide a replacement.
  • 5-Year Parts Warranty: This warranty covers all parts of the system for five years from the date of purchase.

    To activate these warranties, it's essential to register your product promptly after installation. This ensures you receive the full benefits of the warranty coverage.

    Additionally, regular maintenance is crucial to keep your warranty valid. Enrolling in the MRCOOL® Protection Program can help maintain your system's longevity by providing DIY cleaning kits and filters biannually.
