This 16-piece “East Meets West” block set is stocked with both Asian and Western style knives. The set features both an Asian-style kudamono paring knife with a lightweight body that is ideal for intricate vegetable work, and a Western-style paring knife for other small-scale tasks in the kitchen. The Asian-style hollow edge santoku features a blade that has small indentations, called grantons, which prevent food from sticking while cutting and is designed to facilitate the Asian push-cut.
The forged bolster construction of the Forged Synergy knives seamlessly transitions from blade to handle for durability and balance. Designed for comfort and style, the ergonomic double-rivet handle features a sleek, stainless-steel backing that looks as good as it feels. Fabricated from high-quality German stainless steel, the satin-finished blades produce precision cuts and are honed for long-lasting sharpness. These dishwasher safe knives make clean up a cinch.
