      Do you really need a sub-zero fridge

      We bought a house with an old and dying Sub-Zero fridge. We had to replace it and the space to fill was 48 inches. A replacement SubZero would have been around 17k and regardless of the price, all it does is keep food cold. We decided explore options and came across the clever Forno option. With Forno you buy two 24 inch fridges with fridge on top and freezer on the bottom. And you just mount the handles and hinges on opposite sides. The finish on the stainless is excellent And does not show fingerprints. The layout inside is terrific. And, unlike any other 48 inch fridge, if one side fails, I still have a working fridge. You cannot have a water or ice dispenser but we have never used ours anyway. So you can keep your food just as cold and just as frozen in a 48 inch, 17,000 Sub-Zero or get two Forno 24 inch fridges that will keep food just as cold and just as frozen for. Total cost of 2,000. And that’s for both units combined!
