Why should I consider a Protection Plan for my purchase?

A Protection Plan offers comprehensive coverage beyond the manufacturer’s warranty. While most manufacturer warranties are limited, the Protection Plan covers parts, labor, and in-home service even after the original warranty ends. If repairs aren’t possible, your product will be replaced, ensuring peace of mind and longevity for your purchase.

How does the Protection Plan work?

Premium Home Source partners with Consumer Priority Service (CPS) to offer this plan. Simply add the CPS Protection Plan at checkout on our product pages. CPS provides top-tier service, including comprehensive parts and labor coverage, in-home service, and seamless claims processes

When should I buy the Protection Plan?

  • Products with a full parts and labor warranty: You have up to 90 days before the manufacturer’s warranty expires to add the CPS plan.
  • Products without a full parts and labor warranty: The Protection Plan must be purchased at the time of sale.

When does my Protection Plan start?

  • Full parts and labor manufacturer’s warranty: CPS coverage begins after the manufacturer’s warranty expires.
  • Parts-only manufacturer’s warranty: CPS coverage starts on day 31.

For kitchen appliances, combined manufacturer and CPS Protection Plan coverage can last up to 8 years (e.g., 3-year manufacturer + 5-year CPS plan).

Does my coverage continue after a repair?

Yes, your Protection Plan continues until the contract’s expiration. However, coverage ends if the appliance is replaced.

What isn’t covered by the Protection Plan?

This plan does not cover:

  • Cosmetic or intentional damage
  • Labor for unstacking appliances
  • Routine maintenance or cleaning

Can I transfer my Protection Plan if I sell the product?

Yes! You can transfer the plan to a new owner for a $25 transfer fee by contacting CPS at (800) 905-0443.

Are there any service fees with the Protection Plan?

No, there are zero service fees with the CPS Protection Plan.

What exactly is covered by the CPS Protection Plan?

Your plan includes, but is not limited to:

  • Coverage for defects in materials and workmanship
  • Damage protection from dust, heat, humidity, and power surges
  • In-home service
  • $50 Laundry Credit, $250 Food Loss Credit, $75 Delivery & Haul Away Credit
  • $75 for removal and reinstall if a product is replaced
