MRCOOL orders include free curbside delivery via FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, or the most trusted carrier available. Please note that delivery is to the curbside only - be sure to arrange for assistance if needed, as the carrier will not bring items inside your home.

RETURN POLICY

MRCOOL returns must be requested within 30 days of your delivery date. We are unable to process returns submitted after this period. Products must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging, including the box and pallet, to qualify for a return.

What sizes would I need for a 1,000sq foot home and all so would like to use one in my 2 car garage.The garage will not be using all the time

For a 1,000 sq. ft. home, the right size depends on layout, insulation, ceiling height, climate and how many rooms you want to condition, but an 18,000 BTU 2-zone system with two 9K air handlers is typically better suited for two smaller areas rather than an entire 1,000 sq. ft. home. If you also want to use one zone in a 2-car garage occasionally, a 9K head may help, but garages often need more capacity due to poor insulation, door openings and heat gain. We recommend having an HVAC professional perform a load calculation to confirm the correct system size and zone setup before purchasing. What are the 9000 BTU units rated for as far as effectiveness in below 0 degrees temperature in the winter? At what temperature will it no longer be able to heat. I live in Amarillo where temperatures can get to -12 degrees Fahrenheit.
