DESCRIPTION

The Haiku by Big Ass Fans is the world's most efficient smart ceiling fan: three precision-balanced airfoils, a whisper-quiet permanent-magnet motor, and built-in SenseME® sensors that adjust the fan automatically as your space changes. This listing features the Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish, rated for covered outdoor (damp) locations.

Why the Haiku

Feel the air, not the noise. Moves up to ~17,000 CFM, yet stays under 35 dBA, quieter than a whisper at max speed.
It runs itself. SenseME® motion and temperature sensors start the fan when you enter and adjust speed as the space warms or cools.
Control it your way. Bluetooth remote, the Big Ass Fans app, and Amazon Alexa / Google Assistant, with seven speeds from a gentle breeze to a full cool-down.
Built to last, built here. Engineered and assembled in Lexington, Kentucky, backed by up to a 3-Year Residential Warranty for covered outdoor use.
Add light when you want it. Pair it with the Haiku LED Downlight Kit (sold separately) in a matching finish. Chromatic Uplight is not available on damp-rated fans.

Choose your configuration

Use the selectors above to build your fan:

Fan diameter, 52 in (up to ~225 sq ft), 60 in (up to ~400 sq ft), or 84 in (up to ~900 sq ft).
Downrod / ceiling height, the 12 in downrod is included; for the lowest ceilings choose Flush Mount (no downrod, flat ceilings only, 52 & 60 in) or a 7 in downrod, or add a 20-60 in downrod for higher ceilings.

Covered outdoor installation

This model is damp-rated for covered outdoor spaces. It must be installed with fixed, permanent overhead coverage extending at least 2 ft beyond the airfoil tips on all sides, and the included fan stabilizer must be used. Not suitable for salt air environments, install at least 50 miles inland from the coast.

What's in the box
